Casino floor
Step through the revolving glass doors on Bloor Street and hand your reservation details to the front desk. A staff member checks your ID, encodes a plastic key card, and points toward the elevators. You walk past the courtyard toward the ground floor corridors without waiting long.
The 3 floors were once a textile warehouse built with solid brick load-bearing walls. Timber floor joists remain exposed in the main hallways to show the original structure from decades ago. Renovations kept the heavy framing intact while adding modern insulation between levels.
Morning service runs in the ground floor dining room with hot coffee, sliced fruit, and baked pastries laid out on oak counters. Staff clear tables continuously and restock the buffet until the kitchen closes at ten. Room service operates through a separate phone menu with delivery straight to your door.
Smoking is prohibited inside all 167 rooms to keep the textiles clean for incoming guests. Quiet hours begin at ten every evening so everyone can sleep without hallway disturbances. Pets stay in designated areas only to prevent damage to the garden view carpets.
The licensed casino operates on a separate floor with its own entrance facing the side lane. Security checks every visitor at the outer door and requires a valid ID showing you are at least 19 years old.
All gaming tables and slot machines stay inside this enclosed room with no digital or online counterpart. Cashier cages handle payouts on site and the gaming area shares no ventilation ducts or staff with the hotel accommodation upstairs.
